The best thing about my time at the College was meeting and talking to many new people due to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere around the College. I also found that my teachers were crucial in helping me to achieve. They were all very friendly and approachable, and always willing to answer any questions that I had.I was fortunate enough to have excellent teachers throughout my four years.
Following the completion of a Bachelors of Engineering from SSTC, it offeredme the perfect opportunity to build on my existing skill set, while developingnew and different talents.The years were an extremely challenging one, the process exposed me to theroots of how organizations operate, giving me the skills to go down manydifferent career paths across a variety of industries. The SSTC gave me anappreciation of how to deal with anything that could be thrown at you in yourworking life.
After receiving my degree and signed on for my first real job I amthoroughly pleased with the decision I made. I spent a year with a greatbunch of people while gaining the skills and knowledge which enabled me topursue a career less ordinary. Whether that is in the form of starting yourown company, assuming a role in a large corporate or performing consultingwork, the SSTC puts you in the rare and powerful position of understanding.
Since graduating from the SSTC ,I have experienced great success whenapplying for jobs which is due to my increased assertiveness to gain what Iwant from employment rather than accept the status quo. I also have anincreased understanding of the importance of my role and how it contributesto the company on a daily basis. These traits were gained during my time inthe SSTC.
A new academic year begins with new energy and vibrant faces on the campus. This is the place where I learned a lot not only related to the syllabus but also about how to be a good person. The teachers are supportive and keep a studentoriented attitude. This provides a great learning opportunity to students. The college strives to develop and nurture other aspects of the personality by conducting entrepreneurial, cultural and sports events. I am grateful to be a part of such an institution.
