It is my pleasure to welcome you to Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, Bhilai (SSTC) an autonomous Institution affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, Bhilai (SSTC) offers a wide range of educational programs in the field of engineering and technology, management, computer application, pharmacy and is also a research centre for the aspirants willing to do Ph.D. Our aim is to inculcate competency in our graduates which will transform them into thinking citizens and lifelong learners.

SSTC has strong faculty base of highly qualified and renowned faculty members with more than 65 Ph.D holders and a good number of them are in the advance stage of completion of their doctoral work. It is a matter of great pride that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded us Grade ‘A’ and the National Board of Accreditation has granted reaccreditation to all eligible UG programmes. SSTC has also occupied its place in NIRF for last two consecutive years 2020 & 2021, in the band of 251-300. The first business incubator which is one of its kind in Central India has been established at SSTC with the support of MSME.

Here in SSTC, we not only strive to train our students to become excellent scientists, technologists, thinkers and leaders of the society but also help them to mould themselves into better human beings..

The NSS unit of the college is the most active student unit in and outside the campus; which starts from the first day of admission and goes on till the last working day of the session. I am very delighted to inform that our NSS unit and programme officer have been conferred with President Award in 2021 by Ministry of Youth Affairs, New Delhi.

I feel proud to share that in the last few years, more than 2000 students got placed in multinational, national and government sectors and brought laurels to our institution. More than 50% of merit positions in the merit list are bagged by our students including overall university topper.

We create not the future, instead we craft them for the future. There are strong challenges to great efforts but, always remember, great effort bears the sweet fruit of success. We want you to taste the fruit of success once and for the rest of your life, you will never rest.
