SSTC in a brief span of less than two decades has carved a niche for itself in the field of engineering, pharmacy and management education. Its superior attributes such as modern infrastructure and facilities, world-class curriculum, qualified and experienced faculty, tieups with industry and national organizations and collaborations with foreign universities have contributed to its overall excellence.
As a consequence, most of its programmes has been accredited and reaccredited according to latest Washington accord by National Board of Accreditation. SSTC has been recognized as a research centre in a 12 disciplines covering engineering, pharmacy and management and R&D policy provides a large number of incentives to faculty members with a view to encourage them to write quality research papers with industry output. The progressive improvement in academic results the details of which are indicated in the main report, clearly reflect that quality education to our students over the past years have borne fruit. Most of the students have bagged the merit positions in the University which count approximately 60% of total positions.
The number of reputed companies which visit the campus for placement has been on the increase each year. Almost, full placements are achieved each year except for the studentswho join higher studies or start their own ventures.
We not only strive to train the students to become excellent scientists, technologists, thinkers and leader of the society but also help them to mould themselves into better humanbeings. Our students with diverse backgrounds and multidisciplinary approach have participated and won the National level competitions such as Smart India Hackathon, First Edition of Toycathon (reached final round), Chatra Vishwkarma awards, Covacathon, Global Studio Entrepreurship award, Reolute “Dare to win”and brought laurels to institution.
Our team was runner up in Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards and secured 1st and 3rd positions in Covacathon 2021at IIT Palkaad with Kerala Start up mission. In Smart India Hackathon, we have bagged in 1st and 3rd positions and were top 10 in the last four years across the country. Also, raksha team was 1 st runner up in AICTE Lilavati awards.
