  • Redefining education one dream at a time

President's Desk

Entering its 16th year, the SSTC remains deeply seated to its commitment on building a legacy of impacting quality of life in this region. Inventions and innovations are key words on which the foundation of SSTC is based. These are also key drivers for the vision of our Institute. Our endeavor is to create an Institute that will provide a space for free and uninhibited thinking, a space where faculty and students can experiment with novel ideas without the fear of failure. It is our firm belief that such an ambience will foster highest level of research in our Institute.

Academic excellence, holistic education, innovative approach and global relevance are inbuilt in our institutions teaching-learning process. The Institution is situated at a sprawling campus of over 25 acres, divided into beautiful blocks named after our reverent Shankaracharya Swamis. These blocks have various departments of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management and Computer Application. Each department has state-of-art infrastructure, laboratories including Research Laboratory, latest equipments and modern teaching aids.

SSTC vows to take up the challenges to reach the goal of perfection. We are sure to succeed, as our guiding force is the grace of Adi guru Shri Shankaracharya after whom the college is named.

Finally, I truly believe in the African proverb - "If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together." Indeed, we want to work together with all of you to proceed as far as our vision, mission, talents, resources, and dreams lead us. With your support, the only direction we can go is onward and upward. I wish you all the best for your years of hope and fulfillment that lies ahead of you, waiting to be grabbed.

Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small.
A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step.
