ABOUT THE NSS UNIT
What We Are?
NSS (National Service Scheme) programme is organized by the students of SSTC themselves, and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get involved in the tasks of nation building. It is a voluntary service where students will develop their personality through social service. NSS at SSTC is aimed at providing each student with a significant context in which he/she can reach a deeper understanding of working with unity for nation building.
What We Do?
NSS volunteers engage in selfless service, reflecting Indian values of democratic living and respect for others. Activities include educational drives, cleanliness campaigns, and environment awareness efforts, often held in nearby villages to improve educational conditions.
What We Believe?
The NSS motto, "NOT ME BUT YOU," emphasizes selfless service, appreciation for others' viewpoints, and the welfare of society as a whole. It underlines that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of society on the whole.
What We Aim For?

- To identify the needs and problems in the community and find solutions in which we can be involved.
- To develop among ourselves a sense of better social and civic responsibility.

NSS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS 2023-24
The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, Junwani, Bhilai performed commendable work throughout the year in various fields such as Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Red Ribbon Club, Impacting Education, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, and other regular activities. Our unit also undertook special initiatives in various fields. Highlights of the special activities under different banners are given below:-
