Department of Electronics & Telecommunication

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering was established in the year 2007 with the intake of 60 students at Under Graduate level which later on increased to 120 students in 2009 by AICTE. Post Graduate level Program with specialization in Instrument & control engineering was approved with intake of 16 students in the year 2015.

Message by HOD

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication aims to educate Technocrats. We believe these technocrats contribute to make a difference to their organizations and to the world around them. In our endeavor, we draw upon reserves of goodwill among the Diaspora of our alumni, reputation among recruiters and potential students, and commitment of our faculty and staff . The future holds tremendous promise for the Department. To achieve this goal, the department is following a three-pronged approach: connect, nurture, and grow. We will: 

- CONNECT proactively with the worlds of practice and policy, with academic work nationally and globally, with our alumni, and with the local community.

- NURTURE a high performance work environment by emphasizing and supporting a climate of autonomy, stretch, and team work.

- GROW our capacity, but do so in a thoughtful and strategic manner, aiming to have an impact commensurate with our ambitions, and ensuring that we maintain and upgrade the quality of our people and our experience.

These three strategic priorities - connect, nurture, and grow – therefore, are at the core of our effort to be a premier global Technical institute that educates leaders of enterprises.

Our Objectives

  1. Prepare effective and accountable graduate engineers for world needs by providing quality education.
  2. Upgrade existing labs of department and establishing Center of Excellence in varied fields.
  3. To promote drawback primarily based learning within the department to fulfill needs of industries.
  4. To strengthen sponsored analysis projects together with AICTE and DST.
  5. To encourage a lot of faculties to scholar Program
