Professor Abhishek Mishra, the former Vice-President, SGES was a man with different outlook and thinking as far as education system is concerned. He was an educationalist who not only believed in making the students learned but also educated. In other words, it was a serious attempt to design the practical approach to theoretical learning in the current scenario. His another step was introduction of EDRP system to minimize the informational space and bring transparency in the working system among students, staff and management.
As a technocrat he kept no stone unturned to promote research and learning whether it was establishment of labs, performing of experiments or sponsoring the students for big projects like NASA. He was a true visionary whose sole aim was to provide a platform for all round development of the students. SAMVID- the techno-cultural management fest is the result of his vision. As a team leader he always boosted the spirits of his team by acknowledging their good work. He always use to say," We want to work together with all of you to proceed as far as our vision, mission, talents, resources and dreams lead us. With your support, the only direction we can go is onward and upward."
Professor Abhishek Mishra understood that the success of any professional education institute is often calculated by the success of its training and placement department. Hence, he strived hard for the enhancement of this department. He was successful to bring numerous companies and a good number of campus selections during the years.

In a nutshell, he was a dreamer who believed in the words of Colin Powell that ‘a dream does not become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work’.
Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step.
